As managers part of our role is to uphold the  values of  our organisation, and  ensure that people are able to bring their whole selves to the workplace. The organisation needs to feel inclusive to all aspects of difference beyond the aspects protected by law.

Crucial components of this mindset are understanding  how Unconscious Bias can affect our decision making and how team cultures are created and maintained. We need to understand the actions we can take to maintain and promote inclusivity.

This training programme aims to get past any defensiveness and create an open and safe space for people to explore the ideas.

We work with each delegate during the programme to make sure they get the best from it to help them understand how to use the awareness and strategies we are offering.

We all create pictures and form behavioural patterns based on the data we receive from the world. This course gives participants an awareness of the patterns they hold and the impact they may have. We explore tools and techniques to support different choices in the way people operate.

The idea that underpins emotional intelligence and this course is that taking the time and energy to be self-aware and to clearly understand the needs of others can enable us to choose how to respond rather than to simply react. This helps us create a more inclusive working environment for ourselves and others.
