Over the past twelve years Jeremy has combined the twin disciplines of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and drama to coach and train a broad range of clients in the UK and internationally. At Aspire, he specialises in Public Speaking, helping people prepare for interviews, meetings, and presentations, and Line Management.
Jeremy has a warm, informal and approachable style. He encourages delegates to build confidence through understanding how thoughts and feelings affect behaviour. Many who speak publicly have some degree of anxiety. Jeremy’s role is to help shift ingrained thinking patterns to a more productive state. This healthier thinking approach supports transformational change from a speaker full of dread and fear to one who thinks and behaves more productively.
Jeremy’s approach to Line Management is solidly grounded in his experience, largely in the public and university sector, of managing staff. He brings a pragmatic approach full of gentle humour to Aspire’s programmes.
Over the last two years Jeremy has enjoyed a role as coach for the Government’s KickStart scheme, helping young people into employment. He had a role for many years at Kingston University as an Employability Skills consultant, supporting recruitment and employability, helping people develop and prepare for promotion and interviews across the public and private sectors.
Clients include Redburn, the MOD, HMRC, DEFRA, UKBA and the NHS. University clients include Kingston, Bath, Aston, Southampton and Northumbria University.
