XPS Pensions Group

XPS Pensions Group is now the largest purely pension consulting and administration firm in the UK. They employ over 1200 staff in 15 locations in the UK.

They invited Jess and Pradeep to design a tailored Leadership development and assessment centre to embed a new performance driven culture in the organisation and take their top leaders – smart, experienced pensions professionals – from ‘good to great’.

We worked closely together to create a rigorous, varied and stimulating 2 day immersive experience that was fully aligned with XPS’s values and leadership culture. The 2 day centre also needed to be a careful balance of development opportunities and assessed activities to leave participants feeling stretched and valued.

After months of planning, 3 Leadership Development Centres were held offsite at a beautiful boutique hotel outside London. Twelve leaders at a time experienced skills building workshops, one-to-one meetings with actors, using real life case studies and assessed group activities.

Aspire coaches were on hand at every step of the way to motivate and encourage the leaders as they became more conscious of their strengths and the many ways they could lead the business in the future. This meant they stepped out of their comfort zones and all absolutely shone in the final group exercises – a privilege for us to see.

The Development Centres were so successful that we’ve been invited back several times for more.
