Ruth Sangale is an inspiring and creative leadership development facilitator and coach based in London. After many years working in HR and organisational development in the UK Health Service, she founded Enjoy Work in 2010 with a simple intention: to help people lead with confidence and positive impact. Her work blends deep professional expertise with warmth, humour and a genuine passion for human development.
Ruth’s career has taken her across the globe, coaching and facilitating leaders in Afghanistan, Brazil, Belize, India and Kenya. She has partnered with organisations including UNICEF, Plan International, WHO and UN Women, experiences that have given her a rich appreciation of how culture shapes communication, leadership and collaboration. In the UK, she works across the health service, government bodies, education and housing, supporting leaders at all levels to navigate complexity, strengthen resilience and step confidently into their potential.
Creativity and inclusion sit at the heart of Ruth’s approach. She designs learning experiences that make complex ideas accessible—using creative techniques to help people think differently, challenge limiting beliefs to uncover what might be holding them back. Her specialist areas include resilience and positive psychology, personal branding, career development and overcoming imposter syndrome. Her clients describe her sessions as safe, energising and transformative, with many noting her ability to create trust, ask powerful questions and help people generate meaningful, actionable change.
Ruth is a Professional Certified Coach (ICF PCC), an EMCC Senior Practitioner, and a qualified supervisor. She trains aspiring coaches to gain accredited qualifications and supports groups of internal organisational coaches, as well as individuals.
Outside of work, Ruth brings the same spirit of exploration and joy to her personal life – hiking in nature, partner dancing, and playing the djembe.
