Liv’s training style is warm, expressive and encouraging. She holds a deep belief that we all already have the pieces inside of us to be brilliant, and aims to create a space in the training room where you can bring your true and authentic self unapologetically, the real you… not just the ‘professional’ parts you think you should say or be. Liv’s style helps people unpick patterns, notice underlying themes and be curious towards challenges that feel meaty … so you come away with small, realistic changes that you can apply the very next day.

With a degree in Psychology and nearly decade of People (HR) experience across global multimillion pound businesses, Liv has spent her career coaching leaders and managers in a variety of senior positions, with a true balance of human and commercial thinking. Liv brings a wealth of practical application to her work, including stories of line management, leadership and personal impact… the good, the bad and the darn right ugly! She isn’t afraid to show vulnerability and share difficult experiences in the training room, seeking to create space where others can do the same.

Alongside her work at Aspire, Liv is also the Global VP People for Go City, an international Technology company in the Travel sector. Leading on the alignment of People Strategy to business goals, Liv is coaching senior leaders every week, whilst leading her own team of brilliant People (HR) professionals too. This gives her plenty of real-world application which shines through in her training style.

Liv plays an active role in the People Experience (HR) community and is passionate about de-bunking the old school myth that HR needs to be process and policy driven. Instead, she leads with a flexible, human and adult to adult approach, seeking out progressive ways to drive business performance through HR. With a large and varied network, Liv can often be found building connections, mentoring in the early careers space, speaking at People Experience events, seeking out new ways to learn from others and playing an active role in People Leader networks.

Liv’s commitment to authenticity and compassion extends beyond her work, as she advocates for mental health and female wellness; championing an honest and unapologetic dialogue when it comes to the glorious and messy reality of being human. She aims to normalise discussions on topics which are often unspoken, recently taking part in Self Space’s ‘Open Letters’ Billboard campaign. Liv shared her story of baby loss publicly and appeared on Billboards across London, before going onto be a top 3 fundraiser for the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust in 2023.

Liv is also an accredited Insights Discovery Practitioner, with a keen interest in the psychological concepts that underpin what makes us unique and nuanced as individuals. A trained Mental Health First Aider, Liv also recently undertook an introduction to Counselling and Psychotherapy, to explore how she can draw upon therapeutic techniques to dive deeper into the root causes of our behaviours and make sense of messy, glorious and unpredictable forms we take as people each day.

Out of work, Liv can be found eating her way around her favourite foodie spots, rustling up a storm in the kitchen and keeping active with her dog Ralph. A self-confessed personal growth addict, Liv is always trying new experiences and finding ways to connect deeper with herself and others; right now, that includes Improv workshops and Somatic Experiencing therapy!
