Annemarie is a senior learning consultant at Aspire who specialises in working with emerging leaders to elevate their leadership and communication skills.

She serves as an international coach and trainer with a Master’s in Sociology from Stanford University, concentrating in social psychology and interpersonal dynamics.

She draws upon her background as a Certified Professional Co-Active™ Coach and PCC with the ICF and her training in the Co-Active™ Leadership, Positive Intelligence™ and Kirkpatrick Training Evaluation™ frameworks when designing and delivering L&D programmes.

She may have a nerdy flair, yet she rounds this out with grounded professionalism, playful wit and Californian warmth that helps her clients to reflect, learn and create meaningful change in their mindset and behaviour.

Annemarie has recently led management, leadership and communication skills programmes for emerging leaders at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, ITN, Kuehne+Nagel, EPLAN, Lombard Odier Investment Managers, Redburn, Royal Academy of Engineering, Thomson Reuters, Azimo, Low Carbon Contracts Company, XPS Pensions Group, and the U.S. Air Force.

Her approach is rooted in the belief that most people would like to feel accomplished, respected and valued at work. This motivates her to help leaders communicate in more authentic and constructive ways, proactively address issues that lead to conflict and burnout, and cultivate a stronger sense of meaning in their work.

She regularly leads Aspire’s courses in Leadership, Presentation Skills, Coaching for High Performance, Management, Train the Trainer, Influencing, Personal Impact, and Wellbeing for Managers.

After hours you’ll find her at yoga or Latin dance classes, hosting dinners with friends, and venturing to the seaside for swims, paddle boarding and cycle rides.

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style. – Maya Angelou
