As a trainer, Alexander brings his extensive experience in the arts, business and research worlds into the Aspire room. He’s passionate about helping clients access the tools within themselves to find creative solutions to their development goals.

In the arts, Alexander works as an actor, writer and arts professional. He trained as an actor at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, after which he performed in and produced shows that toured across the UK. This enabled him to cultivate an understanding of the storyteller alive in each of us, and the skills we can use to communicate and make an impact in the workplace.

Prior to his work in the arts, Alexander worked for several years as a marketing manager and graduated with an MSc degree in Organisational Psychology, where he gained a deeper understanding of workplace behaviour and how to best cultivate organizational health. He would later build on this understanding of the human psyche and behaviour, becoming laboratory manager for the Behavioural Science Group at Warwick Business School.

As a trainer, Alexander utilizes personalised positive psychology principles and the synergy of his background experiences to encourage clients to grow. He has extensive experience across several industries, including financial, commercial, medical, academic, law and charities; on a one-to-one basis and in groups.

His specialisms include communication skills, creativity, leadership, growth mindset, resilience, change, diversity and inclusion.
