As co-director of Aspire Leadership, Liz’s creative background provides a key element that underpins the brand, ethos, and work of Aspire Leadership.

She has a BA in Drama from Manchester University and worked for twenty five years as an actor and coach within the theatre and film industry. Her extensive career includes the Royal Shakespeare Company and a long list of television and feature films. She has lectured and delivered practical workshops in drama at the Royal College of Music, Mountview Theatre School, and The Drama Centre.

Liz started working within the corporate sector fifteen years ago as a trainer and executive coach in personal and professional development and effective communication. Throughout that time she has designed and delivered unique and bespoke programmes in the public and private sectors at board level, with executive teams, and throughout organisations. She specialises in leadership skills trainingpersonal branding, influencing skills trainingcoaching and mentoring, and presentation skills.

Liz has a high level of expertise in facilitating and delivering programmes for large international conferences as well working with smaller groups. The wide range of clients Liz has worked with most recently include BOC,  Chugai Pharma, The Royal Academy of Engineering, The UK Chamber of Shipping, Esselte, Interreg IVC, Lycatel, IPPR, Membership Engagement Services, Oak Foundation, Hailsham Chambers, Royal and SunAlliance, IMEX, NSPCC, Risk Advisory Group, Fisher Productions, Buro 4, Capco, Carnall Farrar, and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Liz is committed to her work with the NHS and has run programmes at board and executive level at The Royal Marsden Hospital, Epsom & St Helier Hospitals, NMUH NHS Trust, UCLH, Heatherwood and Wrexham NHS Trust, and WMUH NHS Trust.

Liz is a director of a small film production company which focuses on making training more accessible to a wider audience and bringing individual and corporate stories to life. She has one novel published and regularly writes for the Aspire Leadership blog.
